P.R.I.D.E. Office
This section will contain office hour information when the fall semester starts, and perhaps a picture of our cubicle if I ever find my camera.
Click on the names below for more information about each officer.
And yes...I totally jacked these pictures from facebook.

Marisa Grippo
President
P.R.I.D.E. President
I'm an English and Psychology major, Gender Studies minor, currently
in my third year at the UA. I've been involved in PRIDE since my
first semester here, first as a member and then starting last spring
as Vice President of Events and Administration. As a VP, I've helped
organize many annual events like the Hate Crimes Vigil, National
Freedom to Marry Day, and Pride Prom, and have learned a lot about
working on the budget, making reservations, and handling event
paperwork. Next year will be my last year at the university, and I'd
love to give back even more to an organization that's been so
important to me during my time here. By assuming the role of PRIDE
president, I feel that I can help continue many of the traditions that
we have established, as well as imparting some new ideas of my own.
Matt McKnight
Events & Admin
P.R.I.D.E. Vice President for Events and Administration
I am going to be a Senior this Fall. With a double major in Chemical
Engineering and Physics planning to graduate on time. I can't say that
I am an experienced RSO leader, but I do have a good deal of
organizational practice. I have experience in organizing over 50
people, in a work capacity, so management is something I can do. I
wouldn't say I'm the visionary, that's for the President, but I am the
one that will make things happen. I hope to be able to help PRIDE to
grow, and I hope that we will all be able to have a great year
together.

Financial
P.R.I.D.E. Vice President for Financial Affairs
I am currently a 1st year student (sophomore status) and am a candidate for the position of Vice President of Finances. In high school, I did Model United Nations on the Economics and Finances Committee, so I think that I can do policy debate for budgets. I also really want to be involved in the leadership for the P.R.I.D.E. group and think that this would be the best first avenue to do so.

Membership
P.R.I.D.E. Vice President for Membership
I am qualified because I'm friendly and lovable! I'm interested in this position so I can find new people because people are interesting! So elect me and feel the love!
Jonathan Tannehill
Public Relations
P.R.I.D.E. Vice President for Public Relations
I have been involved with PRIDE since spring 2008. I am currently the
VP for Public Relations. My past connections with the Arkansas
Traveler and my new job with University Productions give me some
influence in communicating with the University population as a whole.
I believe that PRIDE is important in the goal of obtaining universal
civil liberties. Also, as an officer of PRIDE, I hope to be able to
help students struggling with their personal identity. Now that PRIDE
is back on track, I'm looking forward to what we can accomplish in the
future.
